In May of 2011, I started working with the Georgia Forestry Association (GFA) as a Communications Intern. At that time, GFA had little to no online presence. They had established a page on Facebook and a handle on Twitter, but their engagement was very minimal. Through precise use of Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin we accomplished our goals of establishing a source for forestry news in Georgia.
